I get the award of Worlds Worst Blogger.

so it's been a while. but, i'm back! sort of. ill try to be more on top of this but in the mean time here's what i've been up too: i got a nannying job, it's alright. love the family but it's definitley getting very boring. The Broad Set Writing Collective has been having some great readings. we just finished up one in NYC, it was epic. we have an upcoming one one FRIDAY FEB 5TH! i suggest whoever reads my boring blog go to it. it's at 7:30 pm at Kaffe Karpys polish restaurant 41 E. E.Washington avenue (aka route 57) Washington, NJ. GO! im currently trying to figure out what kind of job i want, becuase i can't nanny forever. anway, that's all! hope to see anyone at our reading on friday! adios.

A walk-in Jewlery Closet

I'm obsessed with jewlery. It's almost a problem, but not quite. There are people who love shoes, or clothes. But, I love jewlery. And not like diamonds or gold or anything. Just, cool jewlery that I can wear everyday. When I think about what I want to wear out at night the first thing I pick out is the necklace or earings or bracelets... It's ridiculous.

Anyway, the reason I say this is becuase I just got another job at Chickweed's in Belmar. It's a really awesome jewlery store that also sells pottery and such. It's my bff's mother's store. I buy all my gifts from here. I absolutely love it. Well, today Dina, the owner, left and said that I could wear whatever I wanted. It was like letting a kid lose in a candy store. I couldn't make up my mind! There are sooo many peices that I'd love to wear all at once. But, I ended up wearing a really simple necklace. It's a silver skeleton key with love written on it and it's on string that is different colors of blue and green. It goes nicely with my seashell necklace that I had made last summer.

I love this job, I could find something new to wear everyday. :)

FINALS ARE DUNZO

So I just finished ALL of my final papers that are due today/tomorrow. I'm giving myself credit for getting them done one day in advance even though two of them were due in May. Whatever. Anyway, I'm very, very, very, very excited. I want to buy myself a present. Maybe just a great big bottle of wine. Either way, it's celebration time.

I'm really bad at this "blogging" thing. I'm crazy busy but once summer classes are over (and hopefully I pass!!) then I'm sure I'll be able to do more of this. 

Cool things keep happening

So I was mentioned on a website for the first time ever in my life. Most likely the last time too. Lauren Cerand checked out The Broad Set Writing Collective and decided to mention me in her post about it. Great things have been happening and this just gets added to the list. Check it out.
